It started in the summer of 1982 with a province wide redevelopment fund, that initiated a Downtown Revitalization Project to give a face lift to a tired looking main street and has now developed into a thriving attraction to thousands of visitors each year. The town has at this time, 44 murals that are open to visitors of the small town of 4000 residents. Read the inspiration for the murals here
